Mushy peas


  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • ½ onion finely diced
  • ¼ cup milk


  1. Place the peas and onion in a saucepan, cover with water and bring to the boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until the peas can be squashed with the back of a spoon. Drain the mixture and then mash the peas with a fork Add the milk then reheat, stirring for 2-5 minutes.
  3. If you like your peas thicker, continue to heat and stir until the desired consistency is achieved.
  4. Enjoy.
